At the moment Karin is studying at the Aesthetics program, majoring in Art History, at Södertörns Högskola/University College in Stockholm. She will graduate with a BA in the early summer of 2012.
This is how the Aesthetics program at Södertörn present themselves on their website:
"In our media-based culture, the world is increasingly filled with sensory information. While Aesthetics is usually seen as a discipline that investigates art and artistic expressions, Aesthetics at Södertörn University also returns to the roots of the Greek word, aesthesis, which means perception. We investigate how aesthetic expressions can provide knowledge of our surrounding culture and environment and how our senses contribute to a deeper sense of what our culture means. How can art help us understand our history and culture?"
